susu plak ummi dh beli susu yang Lactose Free..kenapa kena beri susu yang Lactose free..@susu tanpa laktosa bila anak kena cirit?

Lactose is the simple sugar found in milk and milk products. It can also be found in a variety of other foods and even as a filler in some pills and capsules. The enzyme lactase, present in the lining of the small intestine, splits lactose into two simple sugars. These simple sugars can then be absorbed by the body and used as nourishment.

In infants, milk is the main part of the diet, so it is natural and normal for lactase production to gradually decrease as the diet becomes more varied. This tends to occur in childhood and adolescence in African Americans, Native American Indians, Hispanics, Arabs, Jews, and Asians. Northern European white races seem to keep lactase production the longest.

When lactase is absent, lactose passes through the intestine to the colon (large bowel), carrying extra fluid with it. In the colon, bacteria break down lactose into lactic acid and certain gases. Lactic acid is an irritant and laxative.
It can cause symptoms such as bloating, diarrhea, abdominal cramps, and gas or flatus.

Lactase activity is reduced in people with certain intestinal conditions such as Crohn's disease and celiac disease (gluten enteropathy). Patients taking certain drugs and alcoholic patients may also be lactose intolerant. Finally, patients with surgical removal of part of the stomach or a large portion of the small intestine may need to reduce lactose in the diet.

It is important to remember that while lactose intolerance can cause quite uncomfortable symptoms, it does not cause damage to the intestine. The purpose of this diet is to eliminate lactose or reduce it to tolerable levels.

CIRIT‐BIRIT (DIARRHOEA)

Pengenalan
Cirit-birit biasa berlaku pada kanak-kanak. Ia biasanya akan sembuh dengan sendirinya tanpa
menyebabkan komplikasi-komplikasi lain.

Apakah Diarrhoea?

• Bakteria
• contoh.; Shigella, Campylobacter, Escherichia coli
• Virus
• contoh; Norwalk virus, Rotavirus
• Parasit
• contoh;. Giardia lambdia, Entamoeba histolytica

Bukan sebab-sebab jangkitan
• Toleransi kepada makanan – tiada toleransi terhadaplaktosa
• Reaksi ubat-ubatan
• anti-biotik tertentu
• Penyakit berkaitan usus – inflammatory bowel disease, sejenis penyakit yang mana
tidak mampu untuk menghadamkan lemak.
• Functional bowel disease (Penyakit fungsi usus) – irritable bowel syndrome (sindrom
radang usus)

Apakah tanda-tanda dan simptom Diarrhoea?
• Perut rasa memulas lebih kerap
• Cirit-birit
• Mual dan muntah-muntah
• Demam
• Hilang selera makan
• Sakit perut/kejang
• Kembung perut

Bagaimana mengenal dihidrasi?

Dihidrasi ringan dan sederhana
• Mulut dan lidah kering
• Bibir merekah
• Tiada atau hanya sedikit sahaja air mata jika menangis
• Gelisah
• Tidak kencing sehingga 4-6 jam
• Ubun-ubun kepala bayi tenggelam

Dihidrasi teruk (kronik)

• Tanda-tanda dihidrasi
• Darah pada najis atau najis bewarna hitam
• Cirit-birit yang berterusan hingga lebih 48 jam
• Hilang berat badan
• Mengantuk dan kelihatan lali
• Demam > 38 darjah selsius
• Enggan makan

Kesan komplikasi diarrhoea yang teruk?
• Organ badan tidak berfungsi termasuk kegagalan ginjal
• Jangkitan Sistemic (systemic infection)
• Tiada toleransi terhadap laktosa peringkat sekunder (Secondary lactose intolerance)
• Rasa sakit disekeliling kawasan dubur

Bagaimana mengurus kanak-kanak yang mendapat
diarrhoea?

Rehidrasi

Teruskan penyusuan susu ibu disamping memberi minum air garam rehidrasi (ORS)
minum air garam rehidrasi ORS (Oral rehydration salt) garam oral rehidrasi

Jumlah cecair ORS (garam rehidrasi) yang perlu diberikan : ( Gunakan sudu
atau picagari kecil)
Umur bayi 6 bulan ke bawah
• 30 hingga 90mls setiap jam
Umur 6 bulan hingga 1 tahun
• 90 hingga 120mls setiap jam
Umur atas 1 tahun
• 120 hingga 240 mls setiap jam

Fasa pemulihan

adakah bayi saya hyperaktif?

sejak akhir ni makin sukar nk pakaikan pampers kat raziq..pegang pun raziq suka pusing2 kan badan dia..lompat2..kalu dukung pun pusing2..kalu budak2 mmg sy tak benarkan dukung raziq..sbb raziq sgt aktif sekarang..saya pun risau tgk ..haih ni kalo dh leh jalan cam ner la gayanya.heheheh saya risau kalo raziq ni jenis hyperaktif..so kena wat research sikitt tentang hyperaktif..

What is Hyperactivity?
Hyperactivity is a very distressing and multiple disability which affects in various degrees thousands of babies, children and adults. It is symptomatic of a wide range of disorders affecting behaviour, learning processes and communication. A child is often affected before birth, and if adequate preventative measures are not taken, serious disabilities occur which threaten the child’s future development. The effects can often be more devastating to both the child and his family than many other health problems of childhood. If left untreated the condition may continue to affect the person through adulthood in some form of other, although some remission may occur at puberty.

Hyperactive babies often suffer from ‘colic’, need very little sleep (sometimes only three or four hours out of twenty four), cry and scream for much of the time; are restless, fidgety; will not feed properly; are cot-rockers and head bangers. No amount of nursing or comforting will calm such a child. They often reject mothering and affection.

As the child becomes more mobile (sometimes at a very early age) he is into everything, rushing from one thing to another. His attention span is very short and he is easily distractable. He touches everything, and leaves a trail of destruction and havoc. He may not deliberately destroy anything, but his lack of control and co-ordination and general clumsiness leads to breakage of toys and household objects. He explores every recess of a room, and is driven by a seemingly endless source of energy both day and night.

The speech and thinking processes of the hyperactive child often reveal many defects. As some learning disabled children have their greatest difficulties with visual perception, so others cannot integrate what they see and hear and therefore cannot understand, even though they may have no measurable hearing loss.

Not only do sufferers and those who care for them have to cope with very difficult physical symptoms, but also with the attendant social, emotional and practical problems which these produce. Mothers have written to say that they feel ‘loners’ and social outcasts as their children create such havoc wherever they go that they are not welcome at playgroup, nursery school, shops, friends’ or relatives’ homes. In addition, hyperactive children may suffer from a wide range of other ailments and disabilities such as eczema, asthma, catarrh, hayfever, headaches, tummy aches, etc.

Symptoms in Brief:

IN INFANCY
• Crying, screaming, restless, some need very little sleep.
• Colic. Very difficult to feed, whether breast or bottle.
• Cannot be pacified or cuddled... spurns affection.
• Excessive dribbling... may be VERY THIRSTY.
• Head banging, cot rocking, fits and tantrums.

OLDER CHILDREN (in addition to symptoms in infancy)
• Clumsy, impulsive.., often accident prone.
• Erratic disruptive behaviour.
• Compulsive ‘touching’. Constant motion.
• Disturbs other children. May be aggressive.
• Lacks concentration and may be withdrawn.
• Normal or high l.Q. but fails at school.
• Poor appetite. Poor hand and eye co-ordination.
• Uncooperative, defiant and disobedient.
• Self abusive (pulling hair/picking skin etc.).
• Continued problems with sleep.

There are, of course, degrees of the problem, and not every child will have all the symptoms described here.

More boys than girls are hyperactive. Our figures show a ratio of
3:1 (high percentage of blonde blue eyed boys).

What can be done?
As a result of research and the practical evidence of substantial improvements in the health and behaviour of very many hyperactive children, it has been shown that, in many cases, hyperactivity is aggravated if not caused by, an intolerance to some chemical additives in
food, notably colourings, flavourings and preservatives.

The late Dr. Ben Feingold, MD, an eminent American allergist spent many years researching the possibility of chemical food additives being linked to hyperactivity and behavioural disturbances. From this research he formulated a ‘food programme’ which the HACSG has adapted for use in the UK.

This ‘food programme’ or ‘diet’ is a very simple one designed to eliminate some synthetic chemical additives from the child’s food and drink. (Some H/A children may also have an intolerance to some staple foods.)

Thousands of children have responded well to this programme. They have become much calmer, attentive and less disruptive, both at home and school. They have, indeed, become much happier children as a result.

The ‘diet’ is a very healthy one, and most mothers find it easier to keep the whole family on it. Any infraction of the diet by the hyperactive child may have serious consequences, with a reversion to behavioural disturbances.

7 Ways to Limit Your Family's Exposure to Toxic Chemicals in Plastic

1. Limit the use of plastic food containers for serving or storing food. Use glass, paper and ceramic containers, especially for microwaving foods.

2. Never heat a plastic baby bottle in the microwave. And avoid heating food in any plastic container, even if it's marked "microwave safe." Studies have found that heating plastic containers increases the amount of BPA -- and other chemicals -- that leaches into food.

3. Memorize this rhyme: "5-4-1-2, all the rest are bad for you." It's a great little mnemonic helper. If you turn plastic bottles and food containers over, you'll usually find a number on the bottom that indicates the type of plastic they're made from. Plastic containers marked with 5, 4, 1 or 2 have little or no BPA. Toss items that have any number other than those four digits.

4. Go soft. If you can't locate a number on the bottom of the container, opt for pliable containers. BPA is mostly found in rigid, shatterproof, reusable polycarbonate plastic-the kind used in some CD cases, baby bottles, water bottles and other hard plastic containers. Softer plastic containers usually contain less of the chemical.

5. Cut down on cans. Opt for more fresh and frozen foods and fewer canned foods. BPA is used in the plastic lining of many canned foods and beverages, including soup. It's also used in soda cans, which is one more reason to drink soda sparingly. Paper containers for liquids are a better choice.

6. Use BPA-free pacifiers and baby bottles. More and more of both are on the market.

7. Finally...relax. When it comes to your baby or toddler, there are more important worries than hard plastics leaching microscopic amounts of chemicals into food. For starers, think about obesity, accidents, swallowing toy parts and flushing insurance documents down the toilet. Follow my tips, but don't forget to focus on the big picture.

2.NeuroGain PB

Scientifically Formulated For Pregnant and Breast-feeding Women

Both Ω=3, Ω=6 Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) are essential but the body requires them in a ratio that is not normally achieved by the typical diet of today's industrialized nations. They must be consumed regularly as the body has limited storage for them.

Pregnancy - in the last three months of pregnancy, it is important that the mother-to-be has an ample supply of the omega-3 fatty acids. Around 70 percent of all the cells that made up the adult brain are formed during this period. The omega-3 DHA central to this process reaches the fetus from the mother via the placenta.

If there is insufficient DHA for the baby, fetal development may be impaired resulting in lower IQ and poor visual acuity.

What is NeuroGain® PB Vegicaps®* ?

Neurogain® PB is a natural, customized, standardized, refined purified, high quality formulation of conditionally Essential Fatty Acids for Pregnant and Breast-feeding women. Now available in vegetable capsules made in Germany, Neurogain® PB is DHA high, EPA low with AA and OA to help Pregnant and Breast-feeding women meet important pre and peri natal nutritional requirements in essential fatty acids. Neurogain® PB is scientifically formulated in line with international recommendations for essential fatty acids supplementation early in life.

Why a vegetable capsule ?

Unlike capsules from beef or pork materials, vegetable capsules (Vegicaps® Soft)* have a multicultural appeal while showing proven chemical and physical stability with low odor, taste and aftertaste.

Who needs NeuroGain® PB ?

  • Pregnant and Breast-feeding women
  • Pregnant women with a history of low birth weight babies, pre-term births
  • Frequent, multiple pregnancies
  • Pregnant women allergic to fish and eggs
  • Poor, unbalanced maternal diet

When is the best time to take NeuroGain® PB ?

At meal time for better absorption and compliance. When eating, the fats in the meal will improve the absorption of Neurogain® PB essential fatty acids like DHA in the body.

Is it safe to use NeuroGain® PB ?

Yes, NeuroGain® PB is a natural DHA supplement of EFAs. The EPA level is low in line with WHO and ISSFAL recommendations for DHA supplementation at an early stage of life. NeuroGain® PB is not a drug.

Why is NeuroGain® PB free of Evening Primrose Oil (EPO) ?

EPO, Borage oil, and possibly other substances containing GLA, should not be used during pregnancy because they may be harmful to the fetus and induce labor.

How about the cleanliness of the finished product ?

NeuroGain® PB is manufactured under the highest international standards for quality and safety for EFAs. In order to minimize the risk of contamination, NeuroGain® PB is controlled and molecularly distilled to systematically remove PCB's and DDT's. Heavy metals are removed by going through an absorption column. At the end, varied tests will check the low level of peroxidation and the removal of pollutants.

What are the best storage conditions for NeuroGain® PB ?

Store at room temperature in a cool and dry place. The vegetable capsules provide excellent protection for oxygen sensitive essential fatty acids.

* ni je yg sy amik ms pregnant ni..susu jarang minum harap2 calcium untuk baby dh cukup..:) ntah awal2 je minum susu..pastu tak minum skrang sjk batuk2 n tak sehat start minum susu anmum...kdg2 vitamin ni pun ade termiss gak..heheh lupe :)

batuk

huhuh semalam gi hospital an nisa..batuk tak hilang2 lagi..doktor ckp mcm dh nk kena asma je..sy nyer risau sbb ubat batuk dh bnyak sy minum.tapi batuk tak hilang2 lagi..so sy tnya dr.dr ckp leh mkn kalo ubat batuk tu warna hitam..cuma nak balik semalam dr kasi antibiotik..huhu trpaksa makan..tkt lama2 batuk leh jadi penyakit lagi bahaya since kandungan sy baru nk masuk 7 bulan...

sy ade search sikit tentang batuk ni..ni amik kat web site

http://simanja.com/JawapanDrAnda2.htm#soalan16

Soalan 16
